According to the Ministry of Interior statistics,in 1993,over 65 years of age population has reached 7.1% into the ageing in China. According to the National Development Council population estimation, on it will be reached 14.5%, in 2018 on March and it will rise to 16.8% into aged society,in 2021.Finlly,it will be more than 20.6% into super aged society, accompanied with the increase in old people population and aging phenomena. According to the census, there was one-third to half of elderly with experiences of falling down. Because the elderly physical functioning will deteriorate year by year and theirphysical constitutions are usually more fragile than general people.It’s usually more serious for elderly than young people While accidents happened and it takes more time for elderly to getre covered.Therefore, the way to prevention falling down and to rise Lower Limb Functional Fitness are important issues for elderly. Objective:(1)Square-Stepp in Exercise intervention elderly in theInstitution (2)Square-Stepping Exercise the effects of rise Lower Limb Functional Fitness and Activities of Daily Living on elderly in theInstitution. (3)Suggestion Profssioner .Method:Purposive sampling, was adopted Elderly aged 65-75, from Kuang Nursing Home in Taichung,were selected as research participants, 10 persons in total. The participants were divided into the experimental group (n=5) and the control group (n=5). For the experimental group, SSE intervention was implemented for 8 weeks (twice a week). for the control group, no intervention was implemented. A pre-test and a post-test were carried out for both groups in the experiment. The test items included: functional fitness test, Activities of Daily Living Scale the data obtained underwent data processing using an IBM SPSS designed for the Windows 22.0 computer package software and analysis, using a Paired Sample T testing and Independent Sample T testing (p <0 .05). The study found that: Square-Stepping Exercise intervention how the benefit for rising the Lower Limb Functional Fitness and activities of Daily Living Scaleelderly in theInstitution.
