And the spindle rotation speed, feed rate, cutting depth, cutting fluid usage as processing conditions parameters, to observe its processing surface quality. Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to generate second-order mathematical models and to explain the interplay between the turning parameters and the processing quality characteristics. The results show that the most significant factors affecting the surface roughness are the influence of the number of spindle rotations, followed by the depth of cut, and the use of cutting fluid. When the spindle rotation speed is higher and at the same time set its low feed rate and cutting depth, the best surface quality will be obtained. Through the best processing parameters obtained, the optimized surface roughness value is reduced by 58.4% compared to the initial surface roughness value.
