Drunk driving caused serious damages not only on traffic safety but also life safty of drunk driver himself, police officer and other people nearby. Life safety hazards. In response to drunk driving problem, the ban on drunk driving was listed as a key job and the relevant laws and regulations related to drunk driving are also reviewed and revised. However, the incidents of drunk driving are still continued. The purpose of this study is to explore the law enforcement situation of drunk driving and the characteristics of drunk drivers and recidivists. The results of this study found that the hot time of drunk driving was between 10 and 12 o'clock at night. The characteristics of drunk drivers were male, aged between 31 and 50 and most of them engaged in business. The viechels mostly used by drunk drivers are light locomotives. However, drunk driving accidents are mainly driven by cars. These results are helpful for police officer in ban on drunk driving.
