Description
Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 宗教與文化學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === On August 15, 1980, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of China set up the first scientific park in Taiwan - "Hsinchu Science Based Industrial Park", the main objectives and tasks in the introduction of high-tech industrial technology and science professionals to research and innovation promotes the development of domestic industry. The success of nearly 40 years of diversified experience has become an important base for Taiwan's high-tech industry cluster. Innovation industry and production environment has also made Taiwan's most international competition potential, more known as "Taiwan's Silicon Valley." In this paper, we study the engineers of Nuvoton wafer factory inside Hsinchu Science Based Industrial Park as the research samples, mainly to explore the "personal religious" of the engineers in the traditional religious belief in Taiwan. Since the rapid development of modern science, traditional religion inevitably entangles the modern science with multiple "conflicts" and "contradictions". Therefore, what is the relationship between science and religion in the end? First of all, the computer questionnaire is used as a personal religious belief census, and with the "self-proclaimed" non-religious engineer as the main axis, researches in several aspects as relevant literature and thesis and designing qualitative depth of the questionnaire. The current research is based on qualitative study and supplemented by a small amount of quantitative research, and finally to the collection of information for analysis. Questionnaire are divided into four parts. The first aspect is based on the "Attitude of faith to explore the scale", (Zhang Yahui, Chen Li hazel, 2013) to collect basic topics. The second aspect built up the structure from "three-dimensional harmonious balance" in “the generalization of the religious system” (Li Yiyuan, 1987). The third aspect consults the "2014 Taiwan Social Change Basic Survey": religious culture group thesis (Zhang Lengrong, 2016) to layout some questions. The fourth aspect is to gather some topics from the "Taiwan religious culture creative fertile land project". By using the above four dimensions of the design of the questionnaire, the research tools is formed. This study has the following findings: First, the ratio of "folk beliefs" and "no religious beliefs" is the highest. Second, "no religious beliefs", at all levels, still keep the number of traditional beliefs. Third, "no religious beliefs" most recognize religion to society and humanities help. Fourth, "no religious beliefs" most agree that religion and science are not conflict. Fifth, "no religious beliefs" most agree that religious and cultural activities can lead to international tourism.
