Can charismatic leadership in corporations’ lead to a change in an individual’s external settings? A bit farfetched some would think; however, the reality is that when a person is encouraged, the self-power and confidence given to them can trespass the work boundaries. The purpose of this study is to prove that charismatic leadership creates desired results not only in the work place, but that it also transitions to an individual’s personal life. Upon examination of existing literature and through a survey we discover that people are being influenced in many of the main stream arenas such as, schools, government, and work through charismatic leaders. History portrays charismatic leaders in holy books, school books and secular books; in essence they all say one thing, charismatic leaders have the power to change life and history paths. The limitations found in this study include the lack deeper study of the external effect of charismatic leaders, the positive and negative effect of dark charismatic leaders. Nonetheless, this article aims to prove the importance of charismatic leaders in corporate management, and the dark side of charisma.
