It is expected that it will become “Hyper-aged Society” in 2025. The society is facing multiple impacts to the social structure, such as rapid aging, high housing price, and soaring increase of low-salary generations. In the future, the society will attach great importance to mutual assistance in group. The elders can live with dignity if we can help and take care of each other through the power of “Co-Living”. It is an effective way to improve the dignity and quality of life of the elderly. The Multiple-case Study of Qualitative Research Method was applied in this research. Based on the current status of housing arrangement pattern of elder people in Taiwan, the healthy elders except for those failing to take part in the activity due to disease or physical or mental illness were investigated. The collection of secondary data and analysis of theoretical discussion over the literature were carried out by collecting 16 Co-Living cases at home and abroad and by selecting the cases in Taiwan - Chang Gung Health and Culture Village in Linkou and Julung Old People Houses as the research objects. Finally, the results were summarized and the suggestions were put forward as follows. According to the results, the elders in Taiwan can participate in different kinds of Co-Living based on their own resources and conditions. The Social enterprise plays an important role in the generation of Co-Living and Co-existence among elders, service planning and social value creation. This study explores the resource-service model of the elderly living in Taiwan under different resource constraints and demands. In the future, the service plan for housing of Co-Living and Co-existence for the elderly in Taiwan should be oriented towards the planning of small-scale, small-size rental residences. In addition, the buildings that are not in use should be rebuilt and reused, and community services should be integrated to connect with the resources of caring local aging life which the government is currently promoting and a complete living ecosystem for the elderly should be provided. Based on the above findings, the following several suggestions are proposed: The relaxation of government resources decree helps to strengthen the role of NPOs , Social enterprise or cooperative organizations in the resource-service model, for example the government can create a non-profit or social enterprise to act as an intermediary organization, and help improve the quality of life of elderly people through community mutual assistance and cooperation.
