Adolescent's Affective Experience and Expression to Parents 說出口的才是愛?—青少年對父母親的內隱情感經驗與表達 林冠汝 碩士 輔仁大學 兒童與家庭學系碩士在職專班 106 A qualitative interview approach was adopted in this study to explore junior high school students’ expression of emotions toward their parents. This study also attempts understand the emotions they previously concealed from their parents, the reason for hiding these emotions, and their behaviors for indirectly expressing emotion. Five junior high school students in grades seven to nine were interviewed to understand their affective interactions with their parents. Findings showed that the concealed emotions of junior high school students include (1) expectation of a more intimate relationship with their parents; (2) guilt and self-blame; (3) wish for health and longevity for their parents; and (4) gratitude to their parents. The reason for concealing these emotions include (1) wanting to portray themselves as a character of strength due to previous emotional experiences; (2) fear of crying after expressing sentimental feelings; and (3) fear that expressing true emotions would have counter effects. The behaviors of indirectly expressing emotions include (1) showing love through action and (2) becoming independent rather than a liability. Finally, several research limitations, prospects, and practical suggestions were proposed based on the research findings. keyword:love expression ,affection ,Adolescent , parent-child relation 利翠珊 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 117 zh-TW
