Due to visual degradation, operational degradation and other issues, elders might feel frustrated while using mobile APPs. In general, the elders usually do not feel well to use products or services that are specifically targeted to them. Therefore, the elder friendly user interface should meet the universal design concept, which everyone felt comfortable. Different from the traditional App development, this research adopts PWA (Progressive Web App) technology to implement mobile APP. It is not necessary to download or upgrade mobile application from the App stores. We summarize the principles of Design for Elders and Material Design, also apply the universal design principles. The final dynamic user interface is not only personalized, but also context-aware with time and environment. This thesis develops an age-friendly Location-based Mobile Game, Life Chasing, to verify the design principles. By analyzing Life Chasing game records and questionnaire replies, age-friendly design is preferable¬ for all users.
