Each navigation methods have their characteristics, navigation methods constantly updated, changes, but also shows the importance of navigation to people. Traveling is one of the very popular activities that in recent years. Especially during the traveling time, people may be interested in nearby buildings, in addition to viewing the scenery. They can pick up smart mobile devices and even professional cameras, The use of photography or video recording to record these buildings, but the recorded images or videos, may be subject to equipment differences, shooting angle, shooting height, weather, obstacles and other factors, can not render the building The full appearance. Build a 3D model of buildings, and importing the 3D models into a navigation system to provide users with a navigation guide, is one way to solve this problem. and to allow users to work with the 3D model of a building Interaction, this understanding of the full appearance of the building, and the details. This will be one of the important trends in future navigation. This study will build a navigation system application based on the Augmented Reality (AR) technology on the Android system platform. Because Ilan is a city rich in history, beauty, art, culture and special features, after considering this topic, I chose some of the distinctive buildings in Yilan, to build 3D models of buildings using 3ds Max. Vuforia is an AR Software Development Kit (SDK), it can combine with Unity to make this navigation system, will complete and fun. This research system can record the user visited, in the system data, scan the image to record visited, and to unlock the building data, and then displayed in the Collection Review mode list. Locked buildings cannot be viewed in Collection Review mode. The building introduction interface in this mode enables the user to confirm that the 3D model of the building has been unlocked, will view the introduction of the building, and rotate, zoom in, zoom out the 3D model of the building.
