By means of Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP, via which questionnaires were designed, and software, e.g., Power Choice V2.5 and Excel 2010, etc., to analyze the questionnaire result, the study confirmed the hierarchical relation of the factors influencing parents’ choices for preschool education and proposed suggestions. The study concluded as follows: Of the essential causes in the hierarchal relation, the highest was “teacher,” followed in order by “environment,” “children’s feeling,” “curriculum,” “quality of service,” and “advertising.” Of the key elements, the top three were “appropriate attitude,” “enthusiasm in teaching,” and “good learning situation,” while the last three were “making written advertising materials,” “holding parents-oriented workshops,” and “updating regularly websites of kindergartens.” The study discovered, in the essential cause “teacher” the two elements “appropriate attitude” and “enthusiasm in teaching” took the first two places among the twenty-five elements, becoming the vital factors influencing parents’ choices for preschool education. The causes “quality of service” and “advertising” were relatively insignificant, with their elements mostly ignored. The cause “children’s feeling” took the third place in the overall relation, showing parent’s attention to children’s feeling in education. In addition, the study found, different study subjects led to different results of the order of the influences on parents’ choices for preschool education.
