The image itself demonstrates various categories, different presentations, plentiful colors and varied morals to symbolize the essences of Buddhist art. This research analyzes the collections of Chinese totems and religious elements- Eight Auspicious Symbols by literature reviews. With the insights of interviewing the experts, the understanding of Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism in modern society could be interpreted. Moreover, we can apply the design methods and concepts of beads and inlays to design a creative cultural product by transforming the traditional morals, shapes, colors and other design elements of Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism.
