The fabrication and related electro-optical performance are reported. Experiments show that modulation of diffraction efficiency is feasible by change the voltage. By selection of colloidal size, the grating period is adjustable. The grating developed in this report can be used to one-to- many optical signal transmission, voltage detector, and signal coding.
