Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 運輸與物流學系 === 106 === In recent years, due to the rapid economic development and the construction of public buildings, the rise of motorised vehicle owners has led to a serious congestion of metropolitan and inter-city traffic, resulting in excessive pollution emissions and a large amount of energy consumption. In order to achieve the purpose of perpetual transport, the effective reduction of the holding ratio and usage of motorised vehicle owners has become an important issue.
The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation between the attribute analysis of motorised vehicle owners and public transport density in Taichung City. The method of research is to first quantitatively analyze the data held by motorised vehicle in Taichung (the property of motorised vehicle owners, such as owner age, vehicle age, vehicle displacement, etc.) Then the general linear regression model is built by the regression analysis of the ratio of public transport density to the number of motorised vehicle owners and population to explore whether there is an interaction between the proportion of motor vehicles and the density of public transport.
Finally, based on the results of the analysis, it puts forward the suggestions of this study for future reference on public transport and transport policies to achieve the goal of seamless transport and sustainable transport.
