Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 都市計畫與空間資訊學系 === 106 === To assess the tourism potential of music festival, a methodological approach based on the analytical hierarchical process(AHP) and geographic information systems(GIS)was adopted to construct an analytical model. In the model, nine factors were examined and hierarchized by a panel of ten experts. Among the factors, spatial factors were collected by extracting volunteered geographic information(VGI) data from Facebook, a publicly available social media platform. And non-spatial factors were collected from government’s open data. To analyze sentiment data, we use Naive Bayes Classifier provided by snowNLP, a Python library specialized in process Chinese text.
The results are represented by a series of intensity maps based on the tourism potential score in each music festival, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. It could serve as a planning tool for public or private investments.
