This research integrates soil water content of green buildings,the information of water resources indicators and rainfall data in GIS(Geography information System),the scope of which is the Taiwan-Taichung area. And then the research analyses the influence of green building on city and environment, puts forward design suggestion and improved scheme. The goal is to build resilient,ecological and sustainable cities so as to slow down the influence of extreme climate on cities. This research mainly uses GIS to integrate the information of green building and the rainfall data for the nearly five year , uses the inverse distance weighting (IDW) to know greater rainfall range, to know the water-logged ground and flooded area with high probability . Then it looks for the relevant data and uses the fieldwork to prove.It calculates the rainfall in 24 hours.After deducting the volume of water including water retention capacity of land, apply for aoil water content of green buildings and storage of water resources, this research can get the water storage capacity of the regional land when facing the sudden heavy rain, evaluates the possibility of storing the surplus water, discusses how the water affect urban environment and proposes a resolution method. Through this research, we can understand the load capacity of rainwater to the city, and put forward design suggestion of urban construction for Taiwan-Taichung.If Taiwan-Taichung faces extreme rainfall in the future,we can take this design suggestion as reference.
