A Study on the Defense Style, Peer Relationship and Subjective Well-being of the Higher Grade Students in Elementary School

碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所 === 106 === The main purposes of this study were to explore that current situation among their defense style, peer relationship and subjective well-being and investigate the relevance of the higher grade students in elementary school. The study adopted the questionnaire method and participators were 462 students from Hualien County. Research tools included personal basic data, defense style scales, peer relationship scales and subjective well-being scales. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation and hierarchical regression analysis of the SPSS 20.0. This research had the following findings: (1) Elementary students’ self-construction scores were the highest, interactive skills was the highest score among peer relationship, and satisfaction with life is the higher between subjective well-being. (2) That defense style in the "attack damage" level, male students have significantly higher than female students, and female students have higher peer relationship scores than male students. (3) Defense style, peer relationship and subjective well-being were significantly related. (4) The gender, self-construction and attack damage can significantly predict the peer relationship. (5) The gender, Escape self-deception, self-construction and peer relationship can significantly predict the subjective well-being.
