The study adopted the questionnaire method and participators were 462 students from Hualien County. Research tools included personal basic data, defense style scales, peer relationship scales and subjective well-being scales. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation and hierarchical regression analysis of the SPSS 20.0. This research had the following findings: (1) Elementary students’ self-construction scores were the highest, interactive skills was the highest score among peer relationship, and satisfaction with life is the higher between subjective well-being. (2) That defense style in the "attack damage" level, male students have significantly higher than female students, and female students have higher peer relationship scores than male students. (3) Defense style, peer relationship and subjective well-being were significantly related. (4) The gender, self-construction and attack damage can significantly predict the peer relationship.
