Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 106 === With ubiquitous wired and wireless networks today, we can receive instant service or read documents anywhere and at any time. When using campus network, teachers and students may unintentionally bring in intrusion threats and view bad content, especially from Internet. Campus network administrators do not pay much attention to network security or have inadequate protection measures that have a serious impact on data security and personal privacy. Therefore, the improvement of campus network management and security have become an urgent task. In this thesis, we first study management and security problem encountered in campus network of junior high school. The details of these problems and their solutions currently used are described. Then, we propose three Openflow-based software defined network (SDN) architectures that fit into the current 3-layer traditional campus network. We describe detailed process for the authorization and authentication and the packet movements for the intra-campus and internet communications. We show that campus network management and security problems can be solved by the proposed SDN easily and completely. We survey incumbent proprietary and open source Openflow switches and controllers to understand how to implement and deploy the proposed SDN in campus network with the consideration of complexity and cost.
