People pay more and more attention to environmental issues. The Taiwan government and environmental groups have also begun to pay attention to the sustainable development of resources. At present, few literatures have discussed the green consumer behavior from the viewpoint of the Consumers'' lay theories. This study uses Consumers'' lay theories to explore how consumers choose to purchase green products from their own perspectives. This study collected 294 questionnaires. The empirical results show: 1. lay theories about the world has a significantly negative impact on global warming. 2. lay theories about the world has a significantly positive influence on the skepticism of climate change. 3. Global warming has a significantly positive impact on green consumption intention. 4. The climate change skepticism has a significantly positive impact on green consumption intention. 5. Green consumption intention has a significantly positive impact on green consumption behavior. 6. Global warming has the mediating effect on the relationship between lay theories about the world and green consumption intention 7.
