Investigation of material properties of 2 ,6-bis(3- (9H-carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)pyridine thinfilms grown at different temperatures by thermal evaporation

碩士 === 中原大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 106 === In this study, the structure and optical properties of the 2,6-bis[3-(carbazol-9-yl)phenyl] (26DczPPy) films prepared at different deposition temperatures were investigated. In the structural analysis, 26DczPPy powder was measured using Thermogravimetric analysis...

In the structural analysis, 26DczPPy powder was measured using Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) to confirm the glass transition temperature (Tg) is 107° C, the cold crystallization temperature (Tc) is 187° C and the melting point (Tm) is 230° C , and 115 ° C to 170 ° C was used as the deposition temperature. Then, using the side view and the top view of the SEM, we discuss the change of the surface morphology and size, and confirm that the growth behavior of these modules follows an activated surface-adsorption process and Ea =0.44±0.07 eV was estimated by Arrhenius plot. Finally, XRD indicates that the 26DczPPy films which Tsub is 115 to 160 ° C are amorphous, and when Tsub = 170 ° C, the new phase starts to aggregate. In the optical quality measurement, the use of optical UV-vis-NIR and luminescence spectroscopy (PL) were used for analysis. The work showed that the photoluminescence (PL) gradually increases and the optical band gap (Eg) decreased with Tsub =115-160 due to the rearrangement of the molecules and the enhancement of the π-π bonds. However, PL quenching at 170 C was due to the presence of a portion of the crystalline region, facilitating the diffusion of excitons to the center of nonradiative radiation. This work demonstrates that Tsub has a strong effect on the structural and optical properties of the 26DczPPy films. Ching-Yuan Ho 何青原 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
