Future research and discussion should focus on the reduction of cost and enhancement of safety and security for these underground cables. This thesis mainly focuses on temperature and cost of the copper sleeves for copper conductors that are mainly used in cabling. This thesis uses the Taguchi''s method to simulate a factorial design of experiments. First is to identify the control factors. Then the level of each factor is determined. Selection of the orthogonal array is then established. Finally, output-to-noise ratio analysis is performed. The result is determined by analyzing the factor response of copper case temperature, S / N ratio, and quality characteristics to get the optimal solution. The volume and the weight of the experimental combination of the Taguchi''s method are calculated, and the price is judged according to the international basic metal price.
