Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between Facebook using and personal relationship of 5th and 6th-grade students of elementary school in Tao-yuan. The instruments used in this study were Facebook Using Scale and Personal Relationship Scale. The valid return rate of questionnaires was 98.3% and the valid sample was 300 students. The data anaysis included descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and hierarchical regression.
The major findings are listed as follows:
1. The level of student''s Facebook using were middle to low.
2. The level of student''s personal relationship were middle.
3. There were significant differences in Facebook using and personal relationship in terms of the background variables such as grade, sex, hours, frequency and friends of FB.
4. There was a significant positive correlation between Facebook using and personal relationship.
5. Facebook using could significantly predict personal relationship.
