It causes physical and psychological changes. In addition, the human body will be affected by the circadian rhythm of body, and there will be different effects on the stress relief for essential oil. Due to its unique aroma, Petitgrain Essential Oil is a tranquilizer of the nervous system. It can also help relieve anxiety caused by insomnia and rapid heartbeat. This study will discuss the stress relief effect on circadian rhythm of body with Petitgrain Essential Oil. In the course of the experiment, considering that the essential oil does not directly contact the skin, and inspired by the 13th century European doctor wearing a bird's mouth mask, We would like to use the 3D cup-shaped gauze mask to drip the Petitgrain Essential Oil as a source of diffusing incense to observe. We also make a detailed analysis by observing the effect of the stress relief on the human subject during day and evening time. The essential oil used in this study is 100% pure Petitgrain Essential Oil from Egypt. It is equipped with a disposable 3D mask. At the center of each mask, 0.1mL and 0.2mL two kinds dose of Petitgrain Essential Oil are added respectively as a fragrance source. Moreover, the mask that has been dripped into the essential oil is placed in a double-layer aluminum foil zipper bag and sealed, and then taken out for the human subject to sniff during use, respectively. In the experiment, we made the human subjects sniffing the mask for 10, 15 and 20 minutes (three kinds of time difference sniffing), respectively, before and after the day and evening. Then, with the HRV measuring instrument, detect the average heart rate (Mean HRT value), pressure index (PSI value), and total power index (TP value) of the human subjects. After the comparison of the stress relief effect in the morning and evening time by sniffing the Petitgrain Essential Oil, the results indicate to sniff 0.1mL of the Petitgrain Essential Oil for 15 minutes in the day achieves a better effect.
