碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 106 === The present study, conducting qualitative research method, assayed the uniqueness and creating implications via contextual analysis. After integrating Zine’s works including in the present study, the findings indicated that there are three forms, images, words, and graphic arts, in the manifestation of Zine. It was found in the study that the creative arts with pictures and words seemed to be a majority in Taiwan. The overall number of the works with only words or graphics was less. Due to the convenience and quickness of the tools, the works with Saddle-stich binding are the most while coated paper is the majority among the paper materials. The researcher attempted to extend Zine’s works to the whole life process, and analyze the works with vertical time concept and horizontal spatial concept. The styles include recipes, films, stories, journals, social issues, pets as well as travel, and eight of Zine’s works were categorized into life experience, ideals, caring, and family. Caring and family involve the extension of lives (time) while life experience and ideals encompass the expansion of vision (space). In this way, the integrity of life process was shown under the interaction between time and space. It was found in the interview that the authors were able to express the words they wanted to share on different topics and reflect on their lives by means of the flexibility of Zine. Zine is not the mainstream of the publications, but it tells its own stories in the freest way and utters in a unique approach among the independent publications.
