The anonymous self-report questionnaire with five sections was used, including A. Demographic information ; B. Chen Internet Addiction Scale ( CIAS ) ; C. SCOFF ( Sick、Control、One、Fat、Food, SCOFF ) ; D. Semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire ( SQFFQ ) ; E. 24 - Hour dietary recall ( 24HDR ). The results showed : ( 1 ) The mean CIAS score of the participants is 55.09 ± 10.83, and high Internet addiction rate is 19.9% ( CIAS score ≧ 64 ). ( 2 ) With grade increase, internet addiction rate significantly increased. ( 3 ) The frequency of eating lunch in high internet addiction group ( CIAS score ≧ 64 ) was significant lower than low internet addiction group ( CIAS score<63 ), and the frequency of eating midnight snacks was significant higher. ( 4 ) Fruits intake was divided into fruits intake group and no intake group. CIAS score of fruits intake group was significant higher than no intake group, and the frequency of eating fruits and internet addiction were significant negative correlation. ( 5 ) Snack intakes of calories, carbohydrate and fat in high internet addiction group was significant higher than low internet addiction group. ( 6 ) The frequency of eating cookies, instant noodles and fried food type in high internet addiction group was significant higher than low internet addiction group, and the frequency of eating dairy products was significant lower. ( 7 ) Internet addiction and the frequency of eating midnight snack, snack, cookies, candy, drinks, instant noodles, dumplings and fried food type were significant positive correlation ; and the frequency of eating lunching fruits intake were significant negative correlation. ( 8 ) Eating disorder tendency in high internet addiction group was significant higher than low internet addiction group, and eating disorder tendency and internet addiction were significant positive correlation. The results from this study showed that internet addiction may affect nutritional intake, eating behaviors and eating disorder tendency. In long-term, may affect health and chronic diseases occurrence.
