It has been growing from 1,451 cases in 2013 to 1,856 cases in 2016 and the casualties have also been also increasing from 92 persons in 2013 to 169 persons in 2016(National Fire Agency, Ministry Of The Interior,2017). In addition, the fire fighters encounter unknown high risks owing to a high frequency of fire outbreaks. From 2013 to 2018, there have been numbers of cases of fire fighters who died in the line of duty. Domestic survival courses for firefighter are still in their infancy. The author brought in the survival curriculum from the USA to improve the survival skill of fire fighters at the scene of fire. After adjusting the curriculum which took the local architecture and the rescue mode as reference, they devised the 5-day survival curriculum. They selected fire fighters working in New Taipei City to participate in the training curriculum. Based on the Four-Level Model of Training Evaluation (Kirkpatrick, 1959), they added Reaction, Learning and Behavior into the curriculum. With regard to Reaction, there was a questionnaire related to curriculum design in the class to get feedback from trainees. Except for the questionnaire on Learning, there were ability examinations before and after training. They dealt with two results of before and after training by Microsoft Excel. This way was called Rader Chart analysis. They evaluated each trainee from the change of the Rader Chart. If we want to popularize survival curriculum to all fire fighters in New Taipei City, we have to evaluate learning results and understand recognitions of trainees by Statistical Analysis System questionnaire. We evaluate the adequacy and necessity of popularizing the survival curriculum by the learning result and questionnaire analysis of trainees to provide the future fire fighters in New Taipei City with a reference of the training curriculum. The results of this study were evaluated in three levels: response, learning, and behavior. Through questionnaires and radar charts, under the comprehㄇensive evaluation, we learned that local Survival courses adjusted by the United States Survival curriculum consider the construction environment, firefighting equipment, tactical combat techniques, etc., and students’ feedback is available to Taiwan firefighters. It is applicable to Taiwan. It is hoped that the firefighters in Taiwan will all receive training in the survival courses, thereby reducing the number of injured people who are injured in the rescue.
