Description
Summary:碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 交通管理研究所 === 106 === Taiwan provincial highway No. 9 is the longest major highway system in the eastern part of country. It is also a suburban highway running north and south across all eastern counties and cities. Which is known as the original Suhua highway in Taiwan’s most beautiful highway, in the Yilan County Suao Baimi Bridgetrto Dazhuoshui Bridge.Because the lanes and geometrical lines of suburban highway (including plane lines and longitudinal lines) are different from urban roads, the complexity of driving behavior is affected under the condition of multiple lanes, multiple tunnels, and unstable weather conditions. The dangerous traffic conditions have been heard from time to time, virtually increasing the rate of the accident through the road.In order to prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents. The government agencies have listed a large amount of manpower and funds to improve accident-prone locations over the years. However, to evaluate accident-prone locations, it must rely on a complete record of accidents. But the existing accident database is not complete. For traffic safety supervision and evaluation, it is still unable to present complete information. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a set of applicable evaluation methods for the relevant units to improve accident-prone locations . First of all, we reviewed the advantages, disadvantages, characteristics and application of accident-prone locations. To summary and analyze the current process and execution mode, and to discuss the shortcomings in the current assessment procedures for accident-prone locations. Secondly, the characteristics and causes of the accidents were analyzed by using the data of 101 years to 105 years A1, A2, and A3 accidents in the Suao to Nanao section of the original Su-hua Highway from 101 to 105 in Yilan country government police bureau. Finally, based on the characteristics of the suburban highway, and the existing accident data technologies and different indicators. Through the analysis of the current evaluation methods, to explore methods that are in line with the current situation and high applicability evaluation method, so that relevant units can use them for reference when improving the location of the accident-prone Location.
