A direct ammonia fuel cell(DAFC), platinum catalyst for ammonia reaction may be the best, while used as an anode catalyst. There is a poison phenomenon, a nitrogen atom in the process of formation of nitrogen oxide is adsorbed on the catalyst surface, resulting in low current density. The use of electrodeposition of zinc metal on platinum metal, may change the surface of the electronic properties and thus affect the surface - molecular interaction. Andrew S.
