The results indicate that intrinsic nucleation rate constant increases linearly with increasing square root of interfacial energy in various solvents for this system. The obtained interfacial energy in this work showed a trend: methanol> acetone> acetonitrile> ethyl acetate. Scanning electron microscope was used to study the effects of different solvents on the size of isonicotinamide crystals. Scanning electron microscope showed that all crystals are form II.
