Description
Summary:碩士 === 中州科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程系 === 106 === In this study, an optimization research on the wire rod drawing using a rotating die is carried out. Interface friction between the rotating die and the wire rod is assumed to be Coulomb friction. There are two drawing characteristics considered in this thesis, such as the drawing force and the die stress. The optimization research is basically separated into three sections: the optimization of drawing force, die stress and dual goals (drawing force and dies stress). The drawing parameters considered in this research includes half die angle (α), frictional coefficient (μ), die fillet (R), and rotating speed of the die (ω). The research is carried out by using a FEM simulation software named as DEFORM 3D with the aid of Taguchi method. Taguchi method is used in the simulation planning and the FEM simulation is carried out by using DEFORM 3D. The effects of simulation parameters on the drawing characteristics are investigated. The optimum combination of parameters and the influence rank of simulation parameters are obtained for each optimization study so that the minimization of the drawing force and the die stress can be achieved.
