| Summary: | 碩士 === 中州科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程系 === 106 === The fire-fighting job is connected with people’s lives and property safety. The firefighters play an important role in people’s lives and property safety. Therefore, firefighters’ physical, psychological and the organizational condition will contribute to the success of the fire-fighting and the disaster prevention. In order to enhance the efficiency of the organization, the administrator must apply different kinds of management tools and approaches to integrate individual’s goals with that of organizations. Firefighters’ needs and satisfaction should be realized in order to enhance the efficiency of the organization, improve the morale, and reduce the turnover rate of firefighters.
In this study, the questionnaire survey method was adopted. The participants of study were from the field firefighters in Taichung, Changhua and Nantou, A total of 350 questionnaires were sent out and 304 valid response samples were obtained. Descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The conclusions are described as follows:
1. In this sample, the personal backgroued variables (sex, age, marriage, the years of work, health) have no significant difference in terms of the job satisfaction.
2. Job satisfaction shows difference due to external and internal factors.
3. External and internal factors influence each other and then affect the job satisfaction.
