Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === The advancement of information technology has transformed our daily life, for example, the popularity of smart phones has changed the way we learn. In the digitized world where information is rapidly transmitted, health knowledge is easily accessible. Communication and sharing of health information through mobile networks allow one to shift role from ―recipient‖ to ―helper.‖ When groups hold the same belief and value, how to effectively stimulate the further operations of the team is a topic worthy of discussion. Recent studies have also pointed out that social capital has a great influence on the operation of the team. Therefore, this study aims at investigating the factors influencing medical and health knowledge sharing intention through effective relational capital, an important dimension of social capital, of virtual community members.
Based on Social Capital Theory, we also included altruism and relational capital into the research model to explore the factors influencing the intention of sharing medical and health knowledge. Questionnaires were distributed to the members of the LINE@living virtual community created by the Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. A total of 217 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed with structural equation modelling technique. The findings were as follows:
1. Altruism, norm, and trust had positive impacts on knowledge sharing intention.
2. Altruism had a positive impact on identification.
3. Identification had positive impacts on norm and trust.
4. Trust had a positive impact on reciprocity.
We hope the above findings could provide healthcare institutions with a good reference in their endeavors in enhancing healthcare communication and promoting medical and health knowledge sharing.
