In the first topic, microstrip transmission line, lumped component, and high-pass filter is introduced. Then, a 70MHz lumped high-pass filter is implemented and the drawback of lumped high-pass filter found. Therefore, the design of improving lumped high-pass filter by using microstrip transmission line is shown. Finally, a 70MHz semi-lumped high-pass filter is implemented and measured to approve the design. For the second topic, the principle and basic design of multiplexers is discussed and common feedline technique is proposed to simplify the design of the matching circuit.
