Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 106 === The pitch-based activated carbon microspheres were fabricated by sequential processes of electrospraying, stabilization, carbonization and activation. The micro-spherical pitches were firstly formed by electrospraying technique. The stabilization in air and carbonization in N2 were then conducted in order to maintain the spherical structure of the carbon. Activated carbon microspheres were obtained with a specific surface area of 1688 m2/g were obtained by KOH activation at 800 oC. For the study of supercapacitor, the specific capacitance of 167.7 F/g at 2 mV/s can be achieved using the activated carbon microspheres in the 1 M H2SO4 aqueous solution.
