The ceramic artists may have more idea about the functionality and the usage of teapot while attending exhibitions and competitions of tea and tea brewing. It helps not only to develop the personal characteristic of individual ceramic artist but also enhances the applicability of their productions. In our study, a recirculated and conserved action model was used to design the lectures and practicums. 21 ceramic artists who are learning tea ceremony in San-Yi Contemporary Ceramic Gallery were recruited into the study. The program has lasted for 3 years and 4 stages of re-circulated of action and teaching strategies was applied. The teaching plan has been fulfilled through every action. Observations regarding the interactions of tea gathering should be made and the data will be collected. In case of unexpected problems occur, the lecture content and educational method should be reviewed for improvement. The goal is to raise the knowledge about tea ceremony among the attending ceramic artists to facilitate their ability for making teapots which are welcomed by the tea masters. The followings are this research conclusion: 1. The lecture provided has a deep influence on the ceramic artists. It also changes their concepts of making tea set. 2. By knowing the proper way to brew tea and learning “the relationship between tea brewing and teapot making”, the ceramic artist acknowledged the importance of teapot to the tea ceremony. 3. The ceramic artist has been benefited from the lecture to produce “the suitable tea set for the tea master”. 4. Learning tea art has positive effects on helping teapot artists to adjust their way to accommodate the tea ceremony. 5. Elevated the levels of tea and it related ways of education. Our study contributed to the facts that the teapots made by Taiwanese ceramic artist gradually fitted the needs of the field of tea ceremony. It also bridges tea and ceramic arts in a way to integrated with each other. This teaching model could be beneficial to its kind of education and can be further promoted. It can serves as a reference and is worthy to be further investigated.
