The better external expression helps people to get opportunities. Therefore, make-up plays an important part in today’s society. The background of this study is to hope through makeup and physiognomy to have the effect of better fortune. The author has engaged in make-up work for many years and found people want to get better fortune for better opportunities. Hence, the motivation of this study is to combine makeup and physiognomy to help people create a better life.
However, practitioners do not have the same understanding of physiognomy and hard to convince consumers. In the light of this consideration, the purpose of this study is to provide references for the beauty industry, beauty-loving people and those who are interested in improving fortune or in this topic.
This study applies documentary analysis, observation and interview methods. The results and findings are:
1. The application of physiognomy in makeup has significant effect for personal overall fortune.
2. There is a systematic method to adjust the facial make-up techniques.
3. There are similarities between facial identification and makeup techniques.
4. There are new business opportunities for the beauty industry in the field of facial makeup.
