The previous study includes two samples that investigated the psychometric properties of the Resilience Scale (RS) using Taiwanese samples. In Sample 1 (N = 227), we used a principal component analysis (PCA) and verified elements of resilience factors (i.e., Personal competence, and Accepted of self and life). Two factor structure were indicated: Personal competence and Accepted of self and life. It was reported that the internal reliability and validity of the resilience scale reached the satisfactory level. The RS was positively associated with life satisfaction and negatively related with perceived stress. In Sample 2 (N = 164), two-factor structure of the RS was validated with the confirmatory factor analysis. In conclusion, the RS is a reliable scale to evaluate an individual’s dispositional resilience in Taiwanese’s sample. Yuhsuan Chang 張玉萱 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 60 en_US
