| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 數位媒體設計系 === 104 === With the sharp decline of birth rate and the young people moving out in recent years, people start to raise pets to make up the gap of family bonding. Shin-Yun Tsai(2009) mentioned that the pet has gradually transformed the relationship of members in the family. The issue of pet abandonment is derived from pet-raising. Most stray dogs are abandoned by their owners, which brings about the related social concerns constantly. As revealed by the data of Non-governmental Organization, it is very difficult to promote the actions that care for the stray dogs. It is happy to see that more and more people care for the stray dogs with various methods. The creation shows the concerns for stray dogs in an animation, with the purposes of: 1. exploring the current situation and reason of stray dogs; 2. analyzing the application of story ideation elements of dog animation in the creation of work; 3. applying the stroke style in 2D animation creation. The creation is finished in 4 stages. In stage 1, it conducts literature review and explores the issues related to stray dogs and analyzes the story ideation. In stage 2, it uses action method and applies questionnaire survey and expert interview for verification, as well as reviews the script to search the possibility of script creation. In stage 3, it applies the story ideation in the script and starts to explore the strokes used in the animation and how to show the effect of strokes in the animation. In stage 4, it finishes the creation and writes the narration.
The work draws the following conclusions: 1. it is unable to prevent stray dogs now. However, the government has handled the issue by TNvR(Trap, Neuter, Vaccine and Return), and encouraged people to care for the stray dogs with adoption rather than purchasing; 2. during the application of story ideation after case study, it is found in the work that the metaphor of changes in recent years has become indispensable element in the creation of animation script; 3. the visual development of strokes can facilitate strengthening the visual feeling of audience towards the animation. In the presentation of stray dog issues, the strokes should combine with the issue in the animation to get opportunity for expression. Under the influence of metaphor, it builds the bridge between story and audience, arousing discussion and reflection among the audience in addition to conveying the message of story. It is expected that more people will value the stray dog issue, and show care and respect to the life of stray dogs.
