For the development of modern technology in agriculture, the traditional type of farming gradually receded due to the replacement by modern farming technologies that the efficiency and convenience of food supply have also caused issues in food safety. The problem of pesticide residues causes serious threats to health which draws the attention of customers to focus on the safety of food supply sources and the health management of the tea farm. Some young generation tea farmers introduce new concepts of “Natural Farming Technique” as a management guideline of their new-type tea farm which can solve the concerns regarding to the food safety issue which also stresses the importance of environmental sustainability. Nantou county holds a huge share of tea supply in Taiwan; the village of Tianzih is one of the remote districts in the county, where the aging population structure lives on traditional farming industry and left their environment in greenfield. More and more young generations gradually returned to the district lately, introducing the “Natural Farming Technique” to the tea farming industry in their homeland for the purpose of preserving the eco-system to renew the tea industry and culture in Tianzih. The first phase of this work aims to understand the natural/social environment in Tianzih and the requirements from the local tea farmers through conducting field researches and interviews. The second phase of this work is aimed to establish the direction and target of the design through analyzing the data collected in the previous phase. By establishing “Branding” as a promotion media for the “Tian Chia Le Development Association”, a local importing organization and designing infographics as supportive tools, those process can assist the tea farmers promoting their culture and knowledge of tea industry more conveniently. The purpose of this work is to raise passion to the local tea industries in young generations who have moved out from their homeland, to support the elder tea farmers in strengthening the competitiveness of traditional tea industry, and to create values in the tea culture in Taiwan by using modern and inventive methodologies which attract more people to understand and value the traditional tea industry.
