Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 105 === Nowadays, selective laser melting, as known as a metal 3d printing technology, is widely used in several manufacturing areas. The SLM-process parts can be generated in full density. However, one of the most unsolvable defect is that the lower surface quality is generated by SLM compared to conventional manufacturing. In this research, the Taguchi method is applied to investigate relation between surface roughness and several parameters, including scanning speed, laser power, and hatch space in laser surface re-melting. The better surface quality is acquired by optimized combination of process parameters. Additional, several the scanning strategy effect is investigated in detail to enhance the surface quality. The experimental show the Ra of surface roughness is improved effectively by laser surface re-melting from 6 μm Ra to 2.08 μm Ra. This research may have a contribution to improving surface quality in laser surface re-melting.
