Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 105 === While automated optical inspection (AOI) is an effective means to evaluate the quality of wood products, optimize productivity of wood raw materials, and reduce human labor, there are very few applications of AOI in the domestic wood factories. For example, holes or cavities on the surface of wood product currently are still filled by human labor. In this paper, we propose to use the laser triangulation method of 3D machine vision, to execute defect detection (holes or cavities) for a large area of lumber surface, and the information collected can be used in the automatic filling machine for further processing. This method proved to be unaffected by wood surface texture, and can identify the cavity with a size larger than 1 mm.
