| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 105 === As many commercial enterprises have continuously set an overwhelming pace for more mature, the popularity of social enterprise, a new type of business, together with its commercial strategies to maximize improvements in human and environmental well-being, has now become a part in business landscapes. The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the preliminary work on social enterprises comparisons by exposing the different business models in Taiwan. Furthermore, this thesis seeks to trace 20 social enterprises, in term of content analysis, based on the benefit report listed on the Web sites.
The results revealed that this thesis might provide an insightful framework for Taiwan social enterprise workers, outlining the business model canvas associated with social enterprises. As seen in the benefit reports, this thesis also uncovered the strategic approach of the Taiwan social enterprises in utilizing their resources by adopting and combining existing in the mode of operation. Given a variety of activities on social enterprise, three model, including direct, indirect, and mixed type, can be located from a comparative perspective.
