From the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) to mobile devices and from wired network to wireless access, the constructed mobile communication and networking devices are no longer limited to personal computer, but have expanded to mobile devices, embedded platform, and home appliances connected under internet of things. The study focused on the integration of mobile devices, embedded systems, database systems, real-time audio streaming technology, with design and implementation to achieve a cloud audio broadcasting system across the gateways. With this system, user could instantly broadcast audio to the cloud of a selected area via the mobile device, that is, authorized user could broadcast to the cloud loudspeaker at any time. The system could combine the sensor network with the evacuation path planning technology to be used as broadcasting system in building and campus, that in case of fire emergency, based on location and individual position, a safe route could be plotted and broadcast via the cloud system for correspondingly guide the process of evacuation. The cloud broadcasting system adopted the ARM-based embedded platform to achieve a cloud system, in combination of UDP protocol and multicast, along with buffering technology, interleaving coding and sequential transmission, and XOR-based forward error correction algorithm, to overcome the issues of jitter and packet loss. Measurement of system implementation showed that the system had greater tolerance to packet loss and jitter. CHANG, CHING-LUNG 張慶龍 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 51 zh-TW
