The production of the craft industry was made by human processing. The biggest difference between "industry" and "craft" is that the industry focuses on mass production; the process is to focus on aesthetic concepts and practicality. According to the above situation to promote the Chiayi industry to reproduce the active, this study put forward four research objectives, namely, "explore the non-metropolitan area of the development of technology industry," "to explore the local residents of the traditional process of transformation of the views" "The basic conditions for the sustainable operation (operation) of the process of non-metropolitan areas", "the views of the local government and local craftsmen on the transfer of traditional crafts". Finally, SPSS statistical software cross-analysis was used to organize the questionnaire data. Then, the coding system was established by using the rooting theory. The results of questionnaire survey and interview were compared with the results of field survey. Finally, The five conditions for sustainable management of the technology are "consolidating culture with education", "integrating local industrial resources", "crafting space", "strengthening the presence of handicrafts" and "promoting the non-regional restriction" Non-metropolitan areas of the industry is an important factor in the production of settlement, so the promotion of traditional technology industry also affected the population outflow of residents or residents to return home and regional residents on the identity of non-regional identity.
