Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 生物醫學影像暨放射科學系 === 105 === The injection of iodinated contrast medium is widely used to improve image quality and sensitivity in computed tomography (CT). Multiphasic contrast enhancement in three-phase CT is a crucial index of detecting the presence or absence of lesions in the abdominal organs. Whether or not the iodinated contrast medium will increase the organs doses in patients and whether the Hounsfield units (HU) from different phases can determine the abdominal status are the issues that the researchers want to discuss in recent years. In this study, Monte Carlo simulation was used to evaluate how much the dose was increased after the administration of iodinated contrast medium and Thermolummescent detectors (TLD) were used as verification tools. Analyzes the correlation between HU enhancement and organ diseases and organ functions by SPSS. The result shows that the organs doses are increased after the use of iodinated contrast medium. And there was significant difference between abdominal diseases and HU enhancement. Also HU enhancement and organ functions show statistically significant correlation in SPSS.
