Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 生醫光電研究所 === 105 === Dengue fever is a tropical disease caused by Dengue viruses infection (closely related to the viruses causing West Nile infection), which have four different subtypes. The virus is usually carried by A. aegypti, a type of mosquito. Dengue fever has become a major threat in tropical areas. Since 1960s, we estimate that, every year, 390 million dengue infections occur, and about 96 million of them result in illness. Surface plasmon resonance biosensor is well-known for its high sensitivity, its high resolution, real-time and label-free detection. This project focuses on the relevancy of using surface plasmon resonance biosensor to detect Dengue viruses.
