Every teacher is full of passion at the beginning of his career. And each young teacher feels proud of himself to regard teaching as a life long caeer. But in modern society, teacher’s role is declining because of the severe atomosphere, uncertain education policy, the rare birthrate and revolation of retirement. With the unreleasing heavy pressure, teachers feel tired and lose the the balance of teaching and living. Teachers are getting emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and low personal accomplishment from their career.
This study aims to explore the relationship between job stress and job burnout of junior high school teachers in Miaoli. This study aims to explore the status quo of the work stress and the job burnout of public junior high school. Under the different individual background variables, this study aims to ascertain the perceived differences in work stress and job burnout of instructors and explores the relationship between work stressand job burnout and further analyzes the predictive powers of work stress on job burnout. Referenced by past research, the questionnaire of junior high school teachers’ job stress and burnout has been designed and analyzed with factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). Finally, a structural equation model between Job Stress and Job Burnout has been built up and comes through the conclusions and suggestions.
