| Summary: | 碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 資訊管理研究所在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to understand the correlation of sexual assault factors, identify the patterns of sexual assault, and provide them to the government and relevant units for decision making. The subject of this study is collecting data of the reported sexual assault incidents between 2014 and 2015. Information collected from the public government database is used. Applying the association rule of data mining, the researcher explores and captures the nature of each sexual assault event, then formulates the market basket by the interrelated relevance.In the study, the researcher classifies the data into uncatergorized, gender, and age groups for data mining. The results show that the relevant factors of sexual assault cases in each category bear different association rules. Among all, women being sexual assaulted by acquaintances in private indoor places is the most common type. The researcher expects that the government and the relevant units to be committed to resolve the situation. At last, the researcher gives some advices on various aspects. For instance, the government should release more appropriate information about sexual assault cases in order to enable public awareness and further research development.
