Beitou is located at north of Taipei city, the geology is sedimentary mud and high level of groundwater. This study compared with STATNAMIC Pile Load test in Beitou District and the geologic survey reports of this construction site and nearby area of elementary school at Beitou. We can know that the weakness layer of soil nearby area of elementary school at Beitou is shallower(about twenty meters underground). The weakness layer of soil of this construction site at Daye Rd. is deeper(about thirty-eight point five meters underground). So we can use this preliminary test of STATNAMIC pile load test and compare with geologic survey reports as the precautions and the references of the future design of pile foundation for construction.
