This research was conducted by means of questionnaire method in elementary schools of New Taipei City and 420 valid ones were collected with collection rate of 95.8%. The data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, independent sample t Test, One-way ANOVA, pearson correlation coefficient and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The research results are as follows: 1. The status of elementary music teacher’s information and technology instruction in New Taipei City presents as above average. 2. The status of teaching effectiveness of music teachers in New Taipei City presents to be above average. 3. Significant differences are shown between working status and school size of music teachers’ information and technology instruction. 4. No significnt difference is demonstrated among diverse background variables in terms of teaching effectiveness. 5. There is a moderately positive relation between music teachers’ information and technology instruction and teaching effectiveness. 6. Music teachers’ information and technology instruction has a high prediction for teaching effectiveness. Finally, significant recommendations based on theoretical and practical research conclusions are provided for educational authorities, schools and the teacher’s teaching practices.
