Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士在職專班 === 105 === Under the policies of " the comprehensive community development" " The Rural Rejuvenation Program" and "The Living Aesthetic Movement of Taiwanese" developed in recent years, most of the communities in Taiwan's villages and towns are trying their best to intervene in various elements, hoping to show their own "one community one story," the hometown characteristics, and developan arts village or Art Zone with unique local culture.
This paper is aimed to study Bantou Community in Xingang Township, Chiayi County, facing a large outflow of young people in rural areas and the declining population year by year with the change in Taiwan's economic system. How the village, a rural area where the population is seriously aging and declining gradually, combined with the traditional crafts of Taiwan temple ──Koji Pottery and ceramics cutting & pasting,and create an aesthetic living space with traditional handicraft and rural natural scenery by the Living Aesthetic idea of "the arts-in-space."Researchers observed the process of the transition from ordinary rural area to artistic village in Bantou Village. They moved the field of aesthetic education from the school to the community. The local traditional craftsmen led the community residents to create and carry out the real living environment renovation project through community development, resident participation and community reforms.
This papercentered on the arts-in-space and conducted a qualitative study of "oral interview."The author explored the people, events, times, places, and things related to the community reforms through the field observations, asked the person related to the comprehensive community development about the origin, course and results of rural reconstruction, as well as expectations for the future development of the community to understand how Bantou Villagecombined the traditional craftswith the local interest, brought the Living Aesthetic idea, and created a new art of living space.
